This new work is a piece just for me 🙂
I had been feeling like I needed a new work for my wall for a while now, this one has special meanings for me which have been unravelling over recent months.
So it flowed out and here it is. I chose to work in warm palette for this one and is an extension of my “Brain Tree” series of paintings.
Like many of my contemporary works I like to infuse the painting with some intentions before I start, so this one had some quotes and statements I had been journaling about I love the fact that these words help to influence not just the paint itself but also my energy as I paint and I believe also in the energy that is now present in the painting. In these photos you can see the progress that this one had through the many stages.
