ABOUT BRIDGET
I’m Bridget Acreman, a children’s book illustrator and motion designer from Woy Woy.
Creating art makes me a better person. I adore making fun, bright and whimsical illustrations and artwork for kids and big kids at heart. I love it when my work can make people smile. I studied animation and visual effects and have been a broadcast designer for the last 5 years creating exciting and engaging motion design for news and current affairs.
I also have a diploma in transpersonal art therapy and I have a strong passion for children, mental health, and helping kids realise their potential through creativity.
The name Stray Leaves originates from my family home in Bundanoon. I have such beautiful memories of growing up there and had many fun adventures as a child, which I use as inspiration for my work. I love putting my illustrations on greeting cards, prints and creating hand painted custom portraits!
ABOUT BRIDGET’s PRODUCTS
Bridget will be selling greeting cards, wooden earrings & her book “The Wizard Shark”.
I always try to be as environmental as possible and make sure my products are made using recycled, or ethically sourced materials. My greeting cards feature beautiful and fun Australian themed animals and plants and are printed on 100% recycled card stock. My wooden earrings are designed by me and printed on responsibly sourced plywood with a recycled backing card. The charms are printed in the UK but all other elements are made in Australia.My art prints are printed on fast growing sustainable bamboo cotton art paper. I have also just illustrated my own children’s book ‘The Wizard Shark’ which is about the fun adventure you have when you visit your grandparents.
