Create these Danish handmade Christmas Decorations with this free printable template.

My family is from Denmark but we live in Australia so these items to us are quite familiar to us and are cherished at home because of the link to the past.  I wanted to learn how to make them and found it difficult to find the instructions – so I made some 🙂

These are a favourite activity for us to do as a family each Christmas, i will say they are a little bit tricky for the really young once they will need a bit of help but once you get the hang of  it  you can adjust the size of each of the strips to make the weaving larger or smaller. I often will also use some left over wrapping papers, handmade papers to make them that little bit special.
